Stopped by for a few beers, all of them were good! The staff is also very friendly.

Nice dining room and great location. The food was okay, I lacked a bit of oomph. Overall a bit bland. The rather creative dishes on the menu let you expect more than good home cooking. Service was a little slow.

Currently they only allow entry with reservation. Although the restaurant was almost empty.

Great rustic inn. The food was good and like grandma had cooked it. Somehow standard despite everything. Personally, I also found the lighting too bright for such an inn. The waitresses were nice and attentive, which was great

Swabian brewery with good hearty cuisine at low prices. The Swabian sauerbraten with spaetzle was delicious and the portion was sufficient (€ 11.70). In summer with a great view from the terrace towards the old town.

We had reserved a table. However, it was in the "next room" and it was really very loud. The food was really good and the portions generous. The service was very friendly. I had the boiled meat with horseradish sauce. The sauce was "too lax" and a little too viscous for me. But still worth a recommendation.

Very good regional cuisine, nice selection and very tasty. It is difficult to get a seat without a reservation.

Very good restaurant and excellent quality / price ratio where you can taste typical dishes of the region. They serve the local Haller beer they produce. I recommend booking early. 100% recommendable

Food was way too hot and not the best, service not particularly friendly, and it was almost impossible to get a table. Apparently all tables were booked, my table for a large party, which then proved to be a small party... It was a Saturday, the city is small, so maybe that’s why... The interior is very nice and being able to look through the large windows at the nice view makes up for the food and the service.

Clearly 5 stars with asterisks. Despite many reserved signs we were given a free table on request and were served very warmly. We quickly had our drinks and not much later our food. Absolutely delicious. Price performance for this beautiful place is very good. We would like to come back here soon. Predicate Recommended!

It was full. Got 4 seats on a Monday. Food and prices are ok. Nice and "fast" service. Unfortunately the food was very separated. One almost finished before it got the last.

A star is already too much for this bumbling management. We arrived at the restaurant on Pentecost Sunday at 1:15 pm, found two seats and were greeted by the waitress. That's it. 10 minutes later she came back and said lapidar, the kitchen was already closed. I suspect: The kitchen was overwhelmed by the number of guests, because at the next table other guests were told that what they had ordered, was "off".

Asparagus was unfortunately a bit too hard and slightly woody. But as a "consolation" for free a liquor or coffee offered. Otherwise, the food was okay and the service was fast and friendly. Gastraum is brewery typical rustic but nevertheless modern and comfortable.

Great place for traditional Schwäbisch food! A nice restaurant where they serve traditional Schwäbisch food and great beers. We had the Löwen Salat with Maultaschen as a starter (typical Schwäbisch dish with filled dough). As main course we had the Sauerbraten (sour roast in a nice sauce) with spätzle (typical Schwäbisch soft egg noodle or pasta) and Zwiebelrostbraten (roast beef with onions) with spätzle and a salat. We enjoyed eating here and will definitely return!

we had lunch there in June and the food was fabulous, the service excellent. Everything very clean and organized. the ambience inside is great with lots of pictures and quotes to read. we had the vegetarian meal: spinach knoedel mit pilzragout.
